Annual Tradition

For some families, having their family photos taken happens every few years.  For others, it happens yearly.  I am happy to say this family is one I get to see every year!   This year we explored a park just outside downtown St. Paul that has gorgeous fields and trees, AND a fabulous view of…

Fun in Fargo!

I had the pleasure of photographing a friend from childhood and his family this summer when I visited my hometown. This dad and I lived across the street from one another in North Moorhead. From backyard kids’ parties thirty years ago, to him now having two sweet kiddos of his own – my how time…

New Little Love | Kansas Family of Five

It’s not everyday one of your college besties has a baby. So when she asks you to come take photographs of her new little love and growing family, of course you say “YES!” I have had the opportunity to photograph each of her and her husband’s three little ones at about three months of age,…

Sisters! | Twin Cities Child Photographer

These sweet sisters, daughters of a dear friend, came to visit me earlier this month for their annual “sisters” photo session. I got lots of smiles and a whole lot of silliness from these two! We ended our time together by going out for tacos, chips and queso! April weather in Minnesota is totally unpredictable…

Stillwater Family Fun

This family is always a joy to photograph! Their bright and cheerful clothing colors reflect them so perfectly. Although a bit chilly – below freezing if I recall correctly – we made the most of our time together working quickly and playfully between warm-ups in their home! H family, it was a pleasure to see…

Mamas and their Daughters

After learning that I was a photographer, a friend from high school scheduled a session for her and her daughter, as well as her step-daughter and step-daughter’s mother.  We met up at Lebanon Hills for their session – just look at how beautiful these two mamas and their daughters are!  I was thrilled to help…

Stillwater Family Fun at Bandana Square

Friends from church, this family is always a joy to be around.  Laughter and fun are just what they do, and I love it! Check out our time together at Bandana Square in St. Paul! Bandana Square is a fabulous location with dead (non-operational) railroad tracks.  Safety first – safety always! The family chose to…

My most favorite family. Ever.

Yes.  It’s these four people.  My sister, brother-in-law and their two kiddos. My most favorite family. Ever! For this year’s session, we got together at Bandana Square in St. Paul.  This was one of the few places in St. Paul that still had some leaves left on the trees!

Family of Nine!

Friends!  I have to admit I was a little nervous going into this session…you know, with seven children.  Mom said it would be a photographic miracle if we can get uncooperative teenagers and lots of high energy kiddos to cooperate.  Well, scroll down and take a look…what do you think?  Was it a photographic miracle?…
