Minnetonka Family Fall Photo Session

These sisters have been growing up in front of my camera for years, and I love to compare photos from past years to see how much they’ve changed!  M, J, N and E, it was so fun to get together again this year to capture your family at this stage.   And M, you stressed…

Southern Minnesota Family Fall Photo Session

These sweet girls are my favorite.  I get to see them twice a year for photos, and often times more as their mama and I are friends from college.  After a couple of reschedules, we finally made this session happen!  We met in Northfield, found a couple of beautiful areas to work in (out of…

Minneapolis High School Senior Session

I had been anticipating this session for a while…a couple years, actually.  🙂   A few years ago when this high school senior’s mom and I were in adjacent cubicles working as Art Directors for a home furnishings company, she mentioned to me that someday she’d like me to take her daughter’s senior photographs.  Fast…

Woodbury Family of Four Photo Session

This family just makes me smile.  So much sweet and positive energy from all of them!  I look forward to seeing them every year and have had the opportunity to work with them since their oldest was just learning to stand.  My, how quickly time passes!  K, A, A and S, it was so nice…

Annual Tradition

For some families, having their family photos taken happens every few years.  For others, it happens yearly.  I am happy to say this family is one I get to see every year!   This year we explored a park just outside downtown St. Paul that has gorgeous fields and trees, AND a fabulous view of…

Fun in Fargo!

I had the pleasure of photographing a friend from childhood and his family this summer when I visited my hometown. This dad and I lived across the street from one another in North Moorhead. From backyard kids’ parties thirty years ago, to him now having two sweet kiddos of his own – my how time…

New Little Love | Kansas Family of Five

It’s not everyday one of your college besties has a baby. So when she asks you to come take photographs of her new little love and growing family, of course you say “YES!” I have had the opportunity to photograph each of her and her husband’s three little ones at about three months of age,…

Sisters! | Twin Cities Child Photographer

These sweet sisters, daughters of a dear friend, came to visit me earlier this month for their annual “sisters” photo session. I got lots of smiles and a whole lot of silliness from these two! We ended our time together by going out for tacos, chips and queso! April weather in Minnesota is totally unpredictable…

Welcome to the World, Baby E | Woodbury Newborn Photographer

Friends of friends, this family of five welcomed me into the newly-renovated farmhouse in Woodbury to photograph the newest addition to their family, Baby E. Baby E was most happy in her parents’ arms, that is for sure. 🙂 Big Brother and Big Sister were all smiles when we snuck in a few shots of…

Twin Cities Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run

I had the opportunity to volunteer some time taking photographs of teams and festivities at this year’s Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run which was held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in November.  It was a chilly morning for the event, but the teams showed up with bells on – literally!
